A New and Simple Design Method for End-Fire Dipole Antenna Array and Three Two-Element 24 GHz Planar End-Fire Dipole Antenna Arrays

For an RF system, a high-gain antenna helps to improve the equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP) of transmitter and end-fire array directivity (D) half beam width (HP) antenna. This work presents new simple design method for design. The states that when elements are λ/2 apart, could be designed constructed easily without matching networks between elements. Utilizing Rogers 4350 PCB technology, three 24 GHz high-gain, compact planar two-element dipole arrays verify this method. achieved results antennas with gains 8.8, 9.9 9.1 dBi. These characterized by high gain simplicity in They also very size, area about 1.9 × 1.7 cm2. benefit is suggested, technology which adopt presented.
